Normally,
a person would say, “I’ve found someone”
when there is a new love in their life.
But…
I didn’t find him.
He didn’t find me.
We discovered each other.
Like a thief,
he snuck in quietly.
See, that’s how you get my attention.
Quietly.
You’ll scare me away, otherwise.
This is something other men have never
understood, but he did.
The fact the he and I haven’t known each other long
isn’t important.
What is, is the here and now.
Time is irrelevant….
