What Would Wednesday Do?

The Addams Family.
One of my favorite all time clans.
My love began as a young girl when Gomez was portrayed by John Astin
and Carolyn Jones, his beloved Morticia.
Besides Lurch who’s looks and statue demanded your attention,
the rest of the family was just so-so for me.
That is until 1991 rolled around and the Addams’ were invaded
by the likes of Raul Julia (I miss him so much), Anjelica Huston
and Christopher Lloyd as Fester (what a talent!).
I can honestly say I was bowled over by the entire cast, but it was the little
brunette I was struck by every single time she was on the screen.
She was pale, emotionless and would torture her brother
whenever given the chance.
“Wednesday, play with your food.”
I am, of course, speaking of none other than the creepier-than-life,
Wednesday Addams portrayed flawlessly by Christina Ricci.
Honestly, she’s a kid I wouldn’t mind having (back when I was having kids)
and while some are wondering WWJD, I’m speculating WWWD?

Wednesday would be sitting alone, eating greasy-ass Chinese food,
wearing So0o Meshed Up‘s Mondrian Dress all while
plotting and planning the fate of her next victim.
Like her dress — colorful below while dark and deadly above — Wednesday
would lure her prey with pleasantries of a fast tongue and then pounce
when the time was right.
Probably similar to how you should pounce on over to
DAZZLE this August to lure in your own Mondrian Dress.
While you’re at it, bring a male companion.
