Okay, it’s like this….

I brought you here to this quaint and peaceful place called
The Pixel Pot Restaurant & Cafe because I felt compelled to have a very serious and uninterrupted conversation with you.

This time, it is not about my hair or waiting on a call from a certain someone.

No.

This time it’s about a hidden epidemic involving nearly 6 million children in the United States — Child Abuse. Although, child abuse is worldwide, I will mainly concentrate on the U.S. since that is my neck of the woods. So, come closer and let’s continue…

Every year 3.3 million reports of child abuse are made in the United States giving it the worst record in the industrialized nation – losing five children every day due to abuse-related deaths. Approximately 80% of those children are under the age of 4.
These, amongst others, are staggering child abuse related statistics — statistics recognized by Lua Vendetta, MUTYA [VM] Vero Modero Elite Model 2013.
Desiring to raise funds to support non-profit organizations for children and women abuse, Lua founded I’m Not Your Toy (INYT), a new Second Life charity for children in foster and kinship care.

INYT will have their first charity event in Second Life June 17th – 23rd with all donations going to Associação Projecto Criar, an organization that provides legal, clinical and social services for women, children, youth and families who are victims of sexual abuse, maltreatment, domestic violence and human trafficking.
